DIY: Kaa Bracelets – Jungle Book

Not everyone are fans of slimy, slithering, snakes… But here at Sugar Bay, we adore them! They are really such beautiful creatures. Have you noticed how inspired we are by Kaa from The Jungle Book this week?  So, much so, that we have found a great, creative way of turning the concept into a beautiful handmade bracelet.  DIY: Kaa Bracelets   You will need:  •    Pipe Cleaners in a variety of colors •    Red pipe cleaner •    Pony beads •    Googly eyes •    Hot glue gun Directions:  1. Bend the end of a pipe cleaner to prevent the beads from slipping off, then thread the beads onto the pipe cleaner.  2.    The last six beads on each pipe cleaner should be the same color.  3.    Fold the pipe cleaner back on itself to create a triangular-shape - this is your snake’s head. 4.    Cut the red pipe cleaner into small...

Jungle Book week at Sugar Bay is really turning out to be spectacular!  Our camp is going wild with all our man cubs running around and having lots of cheerful jungle adventures. To get our man cubs to cool down and take a chill pill, we decided to create this delicious Jungle Book inspired Jungle Punch.  With ingredients like coconut and pineapple, we assure you, we have the Jungle flavour flowing!  Jungle Punch Recipe   Ingredients:      •    1 Cup of Coconut Cream  •    ½ Cup of Ginger Ale •    ¾ Cup of Pineapple juice •    Ice Directions: 1. In a large cup, add the Pineapple juice and Ginger ale, and stir for 1 minute. 2. Now add the Coconut Cream and stir for another minute. 3. Fill with ice.   It’s our final holiday camp for the July holidays… It’s Jungle Book week at Sugar Bay! We have turned Sugar Bay into an adventure filled jungle full of little man cubs’ waiting to explore what the wild side has to offer.  The new Jungle Book 3D motion picture just aired on the big screen a month ago. It has brought the 1967 classic back to life decades later and has managed to become the latest topic for discussion.  In celebration of this remarkable Disney children’s story and Jungle Book week at Sugar Bay, here are: 5 Things You Didn't Know About The Jungle Book: 1. Upcoming June/July Holiday Camps

  We have three holiday camps lined up with the freshest and most sought after themes. The holidays may be a few weeks away, but space is running out quickly. Forget winter! One of the perks of being situated along the Dolphin Coast is that we get to enjoy summer all year round at Sugar Bay.
