The Bubble Never Bursts at Sugar Bay!

Kids...
Today is the first day of the rest of your life...
well, if you've just arrived at Sugar Bay for the start of Bubble Week, then today is the first day of the best week of your life!
Moms & Dads...
Allow me to share a bit of the magic of camp with you.
Upon arrival at Sugar Bay, campers were greeted by an effervescently enthusiastic bunch of councelors, eager to reunite with kids who had been here before and equally excited to welcome those here for the very first time. The bubbles were flying,, the buses were leaving, councelors' names were being called out loudly & and the good times had just begun.

The dining hall at Sugar Bay is a bit like the hall at Hogwarts (if you don't know where that is, ask your kids when they get back). The ceiling is high, tables groan with delicious food and magic truly is in the air. With bellies full and eyes drowsy, campers follow the winding paths up to the treetop cabins where dreams take over for the night.
Saturday dawns grey and misty, a fresh breeze blows and even fresher campers and councelors emerge from the forest. Nothing dampens the spirit at camp! What follows for the rest of the day, I will try to summarise in as few words as possible;
beach, ocean, surfing, kayaking, paddleboarding, sandcastles, hotdogs, friendship bracelets, fish eagles, sunscreen, paintball, volleyball, skateboarding, swimming, shell art, lifeguards, bodyboarding, sun, fun, and many smiley faces.
And the entertainment doesn't end when the sun eventually goes down...
the councelors have a jam-packed schedule of crazy games to make sure that even campers who opted to do arts & crafts and join in the beach fun later, are happily exhausted by lights out.
The sun shone brightly the next day
and new friends ventured out past the ducklings, pigs and bunnies. Other residents of Sugar Bay include monkeys and mongeese (mongooses)?
All the activities of the previous day were on offer as well as bmxing, the giant climbing wall, tile painting, beading, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) & loads more, all free choice.
Monday night will be remembered by campers and councelors for a long time to come! PARTY NIGHT! Without a doubt the grooviest party night Sugar Bay has ever seen. A rocking d.j., popcorn, ice-cream, a kaleidoscope of party lights, bubbles everywhere including the pool. And the cherry on top...a dazzling fireshow with councelors twirling blazing poi and flaming hula hoops!

To all the awesome campers who joined us for Bubble Week, you will be missed...until you join us again next time.  Till then, remember, IT'S YOUR WORLD!
