Disney Week



Welcome to Disneyland, where the magic really does happen. Today is the start of Disney Week and our campers will be welcomed by the cast of the Disney Channel. Our counselors will be in full costume and the kids will have an opportunity to have their photograph taken with their favourite characters in our photo booth.

Opening Night Games -

Lots of awesome games have been tailor- made to allow both the kids and the councelors to get to know one another better. Throughout the week, Disney music will be played all around camp, from the Disney Channel shows and Disney Channel original movies - to really bring the theme to life. At the end of the week, a Mr & Miss Disney Channel will be crowned during Party Night and leading up to this our our intrepid photographer will be roaming Sugar Bay taking pictures of campers dressed up as their favourite Disney character.

Evening activities throughout the week -

Phineas & Ferb love science and experimenting with new things! On Wednesday night the Juniors will be shown some fun experiments that they will participate in and perform, in groups. We aim to prove that science is not boring.
 


The Intermediates will take part in The 'Sweet' Life Trolley Dash - the team with the most points at the end will win the Candy Prize.
 And the Seniors are going to let their hair down and Shake It Up Chicago. They will be split up into two teams, rehearse their routines, come up with team names and then it will be time to dance off and dazzle the audience of this very popular show.


Thursday will see the Juniors on a mission - a Kim Possible Spy Mission. Kim Possible is a teen super-spy who battles villians everyday with the help of her team-mate Ron Stoppable and his pet Rufus. The camp will be invaded with super villains and the Juniors will perform different tasks in order to defeat them. If they succeed they will be treated to a giant night time swim.



Intermediates will be playing Kick Ball, the American all time favourite game invented by kids and Seniors are going to be on the show Sonny with a Chance. The counselors and campers will be performing skits from the actual show.


Friday is Party Night. There will be a themed dinner - Heading to the Movies, and each camper will get a Movie Pack. And then the main event, the judging and crowning of Mr & Miss Disney Channel, after which the whole of Sugar Bay will party the night away.

Saturday is going to be a big day for everyone - the Disney Channel Games. Teams will compete in various relay events all  around camp. At the end of the games, everybody will come together for one giant pool swim to end off an awesome holiday.
