Review: December/January Holiday Camps

We love camping at Sugar Bay. But our favourite camps are definitely our holiday camps,

because our holiday camps are so distinctive, exciting and themed accordingly to topics that are totally awesome.

We run holiday themed camps four/five times in a year and we are proud to announce that our holiday camps just keep getting better.

With the March/April school holidays on its way, we've decided to review our past holiday camps from December 2015 – January 2016 to enlighten you about just how much better Sugar Bay Themed Holiday Camps keep getting.

December 2015:

Hollywood Boulevard Week : 5-11 December 2015

We warmly welcomed December last year with lights, camera and action as we opened our December/January themed holiday camps with Hollywood Boulevard Week. We went all out and rolled out the red carpet for campers… Oops… We mean our Sugar Bay Celebrities. Our Sugar Bay Stars had to show off their terrific talents in a Glamorous Talent Show and participate in many other A-Lister activities to earn their star on the Hollywood Boulevard Walk of Fame.

Minions Week : 11-17 December 2015

Just when we thought things couldn't get any better… we were host to 202 Minions (Campers) who were all ready to go bananas and celebrate their love for the adorable little yellow crazy creatures who made the Despicable Me movies invincible. Minions love bananas and our campers loved them too this week as we created beautiful banana minion meals and joined in the madness with all our Minion Mayhem games.

Doughnuts Week : 17-23 December 2015

And then something strange happened on the Sugar Bay Shores… It was indeed a scorching Summer, but it just got sweeter as it rained doughnuts across Sugar Bay land. It was super, super schweeeet. We had so much fun doing all things doughnut, and, to top it all, the doughnuts were deliriously delicious. You doughnut understand how much we love doughnuts... we even created our own custom doughnuts and had dazzling doughnut relays.

January 2016:

Thailand Week : 27 December 2015 – 3 January 2016

It was time to travel as we transformed Sugar Bay into Thailand for the New Year and all our Sugar Bay campers essentially turned into our Thailand Tourists. From Garlands to Thai Food, and Traditional Thai Festivals, we can proudly say, “We certainly had a Terrific Thailand Week at camp.

Ridiculousness Week : 3-10 January 2016

So school was almost about to begin and our happy campers did not look like they were going to turn into happy scholars anytime soon… That's when we decided to conclude the holidays on an epic note… We went Ridiculous. Wearing our clothing inside-out, mismatching our socks, dressing up in toilet paper - our Ridiculousness Week was totally Ridiculous. We got so Ridiculous that our campers got over their school blues in no time.

Wow! And that's how we hosted a Scorching, Sweet, Super Summer Holiday Camp.

We know what you did last December... But what are you doing this April?

But this isn't the end of it… our cooler camps are coming up soon…

Stay tuned for scenes from the next episode!
