I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles, Pretty Bubbles in the Air...

What do you think of when you hear the word bubbles? What do bubbles mean to you? To scientists a bubble is a thin sphere of liquid enclosing air or another gas. To me, bubbles are little round rainbows of happiness that last for about 30 seconds and then POP they're gone!

Bubbles have become a big part of the world, believe it or not! You have bubbles that keep children amused for hours. You have bubble gum, that chewy pink stuff that your learn to make bubbles using your mouth. If you have never gotten it stuck in your hair , trust me! You don't want to happen to you!

There is so much more! Bubble bath, which turns your bath room into your very own foam pit and gets you clean at the same time. Bubbly which is chocolate with bubbles in it! They even have bubbles that you can eat, in also sorts of flavor like strawberry and banana. Bubbles is the name of one of the main characters in the Power puff girls! For you Football fans, West Ham United theme song is all about pretty bubbles floating up in the air.

The Guinness Book of World records even has bubble records. Chad Fell (USA) blew a bubblegum bubble with a diameter of 50.8 cm

Here at camp we are convinced that bubbles are going to take over the world and sooner or later you will be able to get everything in bubble form. So why not create a week where campers can enjoy the magic of bubbles in everything that they do.

Stay tuned to the Sugar Bay Blog as next week I leak a few surprises for Bubble Week! As well as mention a few old faces that will be joining us this Holiday season! Remember... It's your world!
