Enjoy summer in July - only at Sugar Bay!
Remember that one time when it was really really cold and nobody could ride their bikes or eat ice-cream? Well we don't, and neither do any of our Sugar Bay campers because every day is a sunny day here! We're celebrating our summer in winter madness with a little bit of France (ooh-la-la), a good dose of ice-cream and waffles, and we're singing winter to the curb at the top of our voices!
With this year's highly anticipated release of Pitch Perfect 2, we figured it was the perfect (haha, get it!) time to celebrate the aca-awesome movie that had us all practicing our do-re-mi's, singing into hairbrushes and attempting to make some sort of rhythm with a few plastic cups.
Whether you're tone-deaf or already a daring diva, you're sure to have the time of your life during this week's holiday camp. Even if you don't like singing and can't hold a tune any longer than you can hold a smile off your face when you're swimming in the sea, Pitch Perfect Week will have something that you won't want to miss out on, you can a-ca-believe it! We're Dixie Chicks serious.

Did you know that karaoke means 'empty orchestra' in Japan? With all this and more planned for Pitch Perfect Week, and with so many new activities to try, the only thing that will be 'empty' is your bucket list!

Waffles? Check! Ice Cream? Check. Best Week Ever? You betcha!
There's nothing that says 'summer' more than an ice cream cone. Just picture that dreamy, creamy soft serve piled high on a tasty chocolate-dipped waffle cone complete with chocolate flake, maybe a few chocolate sprinkles here and there... WOW! OK, now that got our mouths watering! Even though July is technically winter in South Africa, it's always summer here at Sugar Bay. So to celebrate our wonderful weather and winning combination of beach and land activities, we're giving you a tasty treat with the best of both in Waffles and Ice Cream week!
Just like everyone has their favorite toppings, we know that not every kid likes the same things. That's just one of the reasons we offer over 100 free-choice activities for campers to pick and choose from.
Now, of course the week involves much more than just eating a decorated waffle or two (and don't worry parents, it's not going to be an all-out sugar fest!)

Your camper isn't big into cycling? Not a problem! Or pas de problème as they say in France. We'll have so much more than just bike riding going on. In fact, mountain biking and BMXing are just 2 of the activities available, and with over 100 exciting new things to try, they'll be spoiled for choice.
Now we all know that French cuisine is renowned for being one of the finest in the world, but there's no need to travel all the way to Europe for it. We've brought the feasts of France right here to Zinkwazi, KZN! We've even got our own Paris!
So get on your bike, take the trail less traveled, get your tyres muddy and stand a chance at winning that prized yellow jersey.

Tour de France Week (12 July - 19 July)
Saddle up for seven super days of cycling fun as we celebrate the famous Tour de France bicycle race right here at Sugar Bay.Your camper isn't big into cycling? Not a problem! Or pas de problème as they say in France. We'll have so much more than just bike riding going on.
