How to create a Sparkling Snowman Globe
So it's almost
Christmas! But we know almost isn't good enough. The wait builds up
so much anticipation, especially on Christmas Eve!
Here at Sugar Bay we
are big on the festive season and we are well aware of how painful
the wait to unwrap your gift can be. That's why we've hooked you up
with a great solution – a D.I.Y Sparkling Snowman Bulb which you can keep yourself busy with on Christmas eve and
add an extra sparkle to your tree!
We promise, after you
see your D.I.Y Sparkling Snowman Bulb on the tree....
Christmas will be worth
the wait!
Let's start
sparkling:
You will need:
- Used Glass Globes
- Black and Orange Paint
- Twigs from Tree Branches
- Transparent Wood Glue
- White and Silver Glitter
- Paint Brush
- String
Method:
1. Cover the used glass
bulb with transparent wood glue.
2. Dust the white and
silver glitter over the glued light bulb and leave to dry for 20
minutes.
3. Using the
transparent wood glue, glue the twig arms on either side of the light
bulb.
4. With a fine tip
paintbrush, paint eyes, a mouth and buttons in black and a carrot
nose in orange paint to make the bulb look like a snowman and leave
to dry for 30 minutes.
5. Tie a piece of
string around the pin of the light bulb to secure it from falling and
then make a larger loop knot.
And there you have
it...A Sparkling Snowman to Shine on your Christmas Tree!
Splendid Sparkly Ideas:
- Add a pretty piece of chiffon ribbon on your snowman as a scarf!
- Decorate the metal piece of the bulb with silver sequins for an added sparkle and make your snowman bulb outstanding!
Merry Christmas
