DIY: Origami Heart Bookmark

You will need:
  • A4 sheet of pattern/coloured paper
Instructions:

1. Divide an A4 sheet of paper into 4, by folding it into 2 halves, twice.
2. Cut out one square. Use this square to trace the shape on your printed pattern paper.
3. Now, divide this square into 2 halves, twice.

4. Fold a triangle against the middle fold of the paper when placed horizontally.
5. Repeat the above step, only with the opposite side. You now have a mini, almost triangle shape.

6. Turn the shape around. Now, fold the 2 flaps down, to meet with the inverted triangle base.
7. Fold it back up again.

8. Fold both the outer edges in to meet with the inverted triangle base.
9. Now fold the inner edges in to meet with the first horizontal fold.

Terrific Tip:

Use textured paper in bright colours for a more attractive origami heart bookmark.

And now you have your very own origami heart bookmark!
